This add-on works with the official Google Business Profile APIs and the StackPosts publishing workflow. Teams can connect authorized locations, synchronize reviews, prepare AI-assisted drafts, publish approved replies, automate carefully scoped responses, and monitor reputation performance without switching between multiple tools.

Review Management
The review workspace keeps the full response process visible. Teams can synchronize reviews, open an individual review, prepare a response, save a draft for approval, or publish the final reply to Google.

AI Reply Drafts with Credit Control
AI-assisted replies use the AI provider configured in StackPosts. Credits are deducted only after an AI reply is prepared successfully. The default Google Business AI reply action costs one credit and can be adjusted by the administrator.
Generated replies remain editable, so the operator can review the wording before saving or publishing.
Automatic Reply Rules
Create prioritized rules for one location or all authorized locations. Rules can match any review, five-star reviews, positive reviews, or low-score reviews. Text conditions can accept any review, require review text, or match a keyword.

For safer operations, start with draft mode and enable automatic publishing only after testing the rule conditions and reply templates.
Location Automation Settings
Each location can use its own synchronization and reply settings. The StackPosts scheduler checks Google Business review synchronization every five minutes and respects the interval configured for the location.
- Enable or disable scheduled review synchronization

Google Business Posts
The Posts tab uses the standard StackPosts publishing system, so Google Business content stays in the same draft, scheduling, queue, and delivery workflow as your other supported channels.

Team Permissions and Plan Controls
StackPosts administrators can control access at both the plan and team levels.
- Plan controls: Google Business access, review synchronization, reply publishing, automatic replies, and maximum reply rules
- Team permissions: view reviews, synchronize reviews, draft and publish replies, manage reply rules, and manage automation settings
- Pricing table: Google Business Reviews, Google review replies, and automatic Google review replies appear as plan features
Administrator Setup
- Install the Google Business Profile channel connector and this Google Business workspace add-on.
- Open the Google Business Profile API configuration in the StackPosts administrator area.
- Enable the provider and enter the Google OAuth Client ID and Client Secret.
- Add the exact HTTPS callback URL shown by StackPosts to the authorized redirect URIs in Google Cloud.
- Use the required scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email.
- Enable the required Google Business Profile APIs in the same Google Cloud project.
- Enable the Google Business features and reply-rule limit in the applicable StackPosts plans.
- Assign the required Google Business permissions to team roles.
- Configure the StackPosts scheduler so review synchronization and scheduled publishing can run.
- Configure an AI provider and AI credit rates if AI-assisted replies will be used.
User Workflow
- Connect Google and authorize the required Google Business Profile access.
- Select and connect the locations that the workspace should manage.
- Open Google Business to review location status and synchronization readiness.
- Synchronize reviews manually or enable scheduled synchronization.
- Prepare manual or AI-assisted replies and publish only when they are ready.
- Create carefully scoped reply rules, test them in draft mode, and enable automatic publishing when appropriate.
- Create Google Business posts from the StackPosts publishing calendar.
- Use Analytics to monitor ratings, reply coverage, low-score reviews, and location performance.

- A current StackPosts v10.x installation with Teams, Plans, Credits, Publishing, and the Google Business Profile location connector
- A Google Cloud project with access to the required Google Business Profile APIs
- Production HTTPS for live Google OAuth callbacks
- An authorized Google account that manages the target Business Profile locations
- The StackPosts scheduler configured and running
- Publicly accessible image URLs for Google Business posts
- A configured AI provider and available AI credits for AI-assisted replies
Important Platform Information
- Google controls Business Profile API access, quotas, account eligibility, review availability, post capabilities, and approval requirements.
- Connecting a Google account does not guarantee that every Business Profile location is eligible for every API action.
- Automatic replies run only for active rules and locations with synchronization and automation enabled.
- Draft rules require manual review and publishing.
- Third-party API behavior can change without notice.
