When admin uses it
Use it before sending password reset, tickets, invoices, or notifications.
Important fields/settings
Mailer, host, port, username, password, encryption, from address/name.
Risks of changing it
- Wrong SMTP settings stop transactional emails.
- Leaking SMTP credentials is a security risk.
Troubleshooting
Send a test email and check provider logs.
