Install Module (Add-on)
LocalBoost AI supports a modular addon architecture that allows additional modules and features to be installed, enabled, disabled, updated, or removed separately without affecting the core LocalBoost AI system.
Addon modules may include CRM tools, automation tools, integrations, marketing features, communication tools, analytics, workflow systems, or other optional business features.
Before Installation
- Make sure LocalBoost AI is already installed and working correctly.
- Make sure your server meets the LocalBoost AI requirements.
- Make sure you have administrator access.
- Backup your files and database before installing addon modules.
- Make sure your purchase code is valid if purchase verification is enabled.
Supported Installation Methods
LocalBoost AI supports multiple addon installation methods:
- Install via Marketplace Upload
- Install via Purchase Code
- Install via Marketplace Repository
Method 1: Install via Marketplace Upload
Step 1: Download the Module Package
Download the addon package from CodeCanyon or your purchase source.
The package may include:
- Addon ZIP package
- Documentation
- License information
Step 2: Open Marketplace
Login to the LocalBoost AI admin panel.
Go to:
Admin Panel → Marketplace
Step 3: Upload the Addon ZIP
- Click Install Module
- Select the addon ZIP package
- Upload the module
- Wait for installation to complete
Step 4: Enable the Module
After installation:
- Open Marketplace Modules
- Find the installed addon
- Click Enable
The module menu and features will appear automatically if permissions allow access.
Method 2: Install via Purchase Code
Step 1: Open Marketplace
Admin Panel → Marketplace
Step 2: Enter Purchase Code
- Click Install via Purchase Code
- Enter your valid purchase code
- Click Install
The system will automatically download and install the addon module.
Step 3: Enable the Module
- Open Marketplace Modules
- Enable the installed addon
Method 3: Install from Marketplace Repository
Some modules may be available directly from the LocalBoost AI Marketplace repository.
- Open Marketplace
- Browse available addons
- Select a module
- Click Install
Plan Permissions & Feature Access
Most addon modules support plan-based permissions and usage limits.
Administrators can control:
- Module access
- Feature visibility
- Usage limits
- Storage limits
- Automation permissions
- User access permissions
Configure permissions at:
Admin Panel → Finance → Plans
After Installation
After installation, addon menus and features will automatically appear based on:
- Enabled modules
- User roles and permissions
- Subscription plans
- Workspace permissions
- Addon configuration settings
Update Addon Modules
When updates are available:
- Open Marketplace
- Find the addon module
- Click Update
The system may automatically:
- Update module files
- Run database migrations
- Refresh permissions
- Update module configuration
Disable or Remove Modules
LocalBoost AI uses detachable module architecture.
You can:
- Disable modules temporarily
- Remove modules completely
- Reinstall modules later
- Hide module menus automatically
Core LocalBoost AI functionality is designed to remain stable when optional modules are removed.
Troubleshooting
Module Upload Failed
- Make sure the uploaded file is the correct addon ZIP package.
- Do not extract the ZIP before uploading.
- Make sure server upload limits are large enough.
Invalid Purchase Code
- Make sure the purchase code is correct.
- Make sure the purchase code belongs to the addon.
- Make sure activation limits have not been exceeded.
Module Not Visible
- Make sure the module is enabled.
- Make sure the subscription plan allows access.
- Clear cache if required.
- Check role permissions.
Automation or Background Jobs Not Running
- Make sure cron jobs are configured correctly.
- Make sure queue workers are running if queue processing is enabled.
- Check server logs for errors.
Important Notice
- Some addons require specific LocalBoost AI versions.
- Always backup files and databases before updates.
- Some features may depend on cron jobs, queues, APIs, or third-party services.
- Custom modifications may affect future updates.
- Third-party hosting environments may affect module functionality.
