SmartBio Overview

SmartBio is a Bio Link Builder addon for Stackposts. It allows users to create public bio pages with links, social profiles, contact methods, products, videos, galleries, FAQs, and custom sections. After installation, users can access SmartBio from the Stackposts dashboard under Link Bio.

Create Your First Bio Page

  1. Login to your Stackposts account.
  2. Go to Link Bio from the sidebar menu.
  3. Click Create Link Bio.
  4. Enter the page title, slug, headline, and description.
  5. Choose whether the page should be published or saved as draft.
  6. Click Save or Create Bio Page.
Once saved, your bio page will have a public URL that you can share on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, or any other platform.

Edit Basic Bio Page Information

In the Info tab, you can edit the main information of your bio page.
  • Title: The main name displayed on the bio page.
  • Slug: The public URL path of the bio page.
  • Headline: A short introduction below the title.
  • Description: A longer introduction or summary.
  • Accent color: Main color used for buttons and visual highlights.
  • Avatar image: Profile image displayed on the bio page.
  • Cover image: Header image displayed at the top of the page.
  • Publish status: Publish the page or keep it as draft.

Add Blocks To Your Bio Page

Blocks are content sections used to build your bio page.
  1. Open your bio page editor.
  2. Go to the Blocks tab.
  3. Click Add a block.
  4. Select the block type you want to add.
  5. Edit the block content and save changes.
SmartBio supports multiple block types including links, social profiles, contact methods, videos, gallery cards, products, FAQs, headers, and embeds.

Supported Block Types

  • Links: Add link buttons with label, URL, icon, and supporting text.
  • Social: Add social media profiles such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more.
  • Contact: Add phone number, email, address, website, or custom contact information.
  • Video: Add YouTube or Vimeo video URL.
  • Gallery: Add image cards with captions and optional links.
  • Product: Add product cards with image, price, description, and product link.
  • FAQ: Add questions and answers for visitors.
  • Header: Add a custom text section with optional button.
  • Embed: Add iframe embed code, video embed, or fallback content.

Reorder Blocks With Drag And Drop

You can change the order of blocks using drag and drop.
  1. Go to the Blocks tab.
  2. Find the Page Blocks list.
  3. Drag a block up or down to reorder it.
  4. The preview will update based on the new order.
  5. Click Save Changes.
You can also use the up and down buttons if you prefer manual ordering.

Duplicate Blocks

Use duplicate block when you want to create a similar section without rebuilding it from scratch.
  1. Open the bio page editor.
  2. Go to the Page Blocks list.
  3. Click the duplicate icon on the block you want to copy.
  4. Edit the copied block content.
  5. Save changes.

Use Industry Presets

SmartBio includes block presets to help users start faster.
  1. Open the bio page editor.
  2. Go to the Blocks tab.
  3. Click Add a block.
  4. Choose one of the industry presets.
  5. Edit the generated blocks based on your needs.
Available presets include:
  • Creator
  • Coach
  • Shop
  • Travel
  • Restaurant
  • Real estate

Customize Design And Templates

The Style tab lets you customize how your bio page looks.
  • Templates: Choose a visual style for the bio page.
  • Background image: Select a custom full-page background image.
  • Overlay: Adjust background darkness or readability.
  • Position: Choose how the background image is positioned.
  • Fit: Choose cover, contain, or pattern mode.
You can preview the page in real time while editing.

Use AI Bio Assistant

AI Bio Assistant helps generate a ready-to-edit bio page draft from a short description.
  1. Go to Link Bio.
  2. Click AI Bio.
  3. Describe what the bio page should be about.
  4. Select tone and language.
  5. Review the displayed credit cost.
  6. Click Generate draft.
  7. Review the generated draft.
  8. Click Create from draft to create the bio page.
AI credits are consumed only when the draft is generated successfully.

Add YouTube Or Vimeo Videos

SmartBio can automatically recognize YouTube and Vimeo URLs.
  1. Add a Video block.
  2. Paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL into the video URL field.
  3. Add an optional caption.
  4. Save changes.
SmartBio will automatically convert supported video URLs into an embedded video preview on the public bio page.

Add Embed Content

The Embed block allows you to add iframe content or external CTA content.
  1. Add an Embed block.
  2. Paste iframe code, embed code, or a supported video URL.
  3. Add a fallback button label and URL if needed.
  4. Save changes.
If the embed content is a supported YouTube or Vimeo URL, SmartBio can render it as an iframe automatically.

Open And Share Public Bio Page

  1. Go to Link Bio.
  2. Find the bio page you want to share.
  3. Click Open to view the public page.
  4. Copy the public URL from your browser.
  5. Share it on your social profiles, website, email signature, or marketing campaigns.

Use QR Code

Each bio page includes a QR code for offline or printed sharing.
  1. Go to Link Bio.
  2. Find the bio page.
  3. Open the actions menu.
  4. Click QR code.
  5. Use the QR code to let visitors open the public bio page quickly.

Duplicate A Bio Page

Duplicate page is useful when you want to create a similar bio page for another campaign, client, or profile.
  1. Go to Link Bio.
  2. Find the page you want to copy.
  3. Open the actions menu.
  4. Click Duplicate.
  5. Edit the copied page and publish it when ready.

View Basic Analytics

SmartBio includes simple analytics for each public bio page.
  • Views: Number of public page visits.
  • Clicks: Number of tracked link clicks.
  • CTR: Click-through rate based on views and clicks.
Analytics are displayed on the bio page cards in the Link Bio dashboard.

Admin Settings

Administrators can configure default SmartBio settings from the admin settings area.
  • Default template
  • Default page status
  • Default footer branding text

Pricing Plan Controls

SmartBio supports plan-based permissions and limits.
  • Link Bio access: Enable or disable SmartBio for a plan.
  • Max bio pages: Limit how many bio pages users can create.
  • Remove Link Bio branding: Allow users to customize or remove footer branding.
  • AI Bio Assistant: Allow or restrict AI Bio generation.

Common Notes

  • Draft pages are not publicly available until published.
  • Changing the slug will change the public page URL.
  • AI Bio requires AI settings to be configured.
  • AI Bio may consume credits depending on your pricing configuration.
  • Public link clicks are tracked through redirect URLs before visitors are sent to the final link.
